This 1963 Piper PA-18 Super Cub (N821PC) represents an exceptional example of a ground-up restoration performed by Cubcrafters founder Jim Richmond early in the company's history. With only the original data plate remaining, the aircraft was completely rebuilt and later featured in Plane and Pilot magazine (December 2001) and displayed at Cubcrafters' Oshkosh AirVenture booth. The airframe shows 2,490 total hours, while the 180 hp Lycoming O-360-C2E engine and Sensenich 76EM8-0-52 two-blade propeller each have 480 hours since major overhaul and new installation respectively.
