1957 Piper PA-18 Super CUBSingle-Engine Piston Aircraft

This 1957 Piper PA-18 Super Cub (N57WS) represents a comprehensive rebuild with only 50 hours since completion, retaining only the original wings which have been rebuilt with a 2000-pound gross weight kit and upgraded to 16 ribs. The aircraft features a factory-new Lycoming O-360 180 HP engine, a fresh Borer propeller with 50 hours, and a completely new fuselage from Cub Den. The airframe shows meticulous attention to detail with numerous performance enhancements including PSTOLs from Alaska Gear Company, 3-inch extended gear, an oversized rudder and elevators for improved STOL handling, and a 2000-pound gross weight increase via Wipline STC.

The avionics suite is centered around a full Garmin G3X touch system with a 10.6-inch display, GTX-345R transponder with GPS, and comprehensive engine monitoring via GEA-24. The exterior features Oratex fabric covering, Whelen LED lighting, 31-inch Bushwheels, and weld-on float fittings. Interior upgrades include custom leather seats by Sport Aircraft Seats, Atlee Dodge extended baggage and steps, and underseat storage. Additional STOL-focused modifications include vortex generators, Acme shocks on the landing gear and Stinger tailwheel, and aluminum wing struts. With its recent 2024 paint and interior refresh, this Super Cub is positioned as a competition-ready STOL performer.
