This rare 1930s Ryan STA, the desirable two-place open-cockpit low-wing model, is offered for sale in Sparks, Nevada, by Golden Age Aeroplanes. The aircraft has undergone an older restoration by John Gokchoff and shows just 160 hours on the airframe. Its Menasco 4D-87 engine has zero hours since overhaul by Al Ball. The seller states the aircraft was last flown in the 1990s and has been hangared since that time; the engine was inspected and its gaskets replaced in 2005.
