The restoration includes a Manassco D-4-87 engine with 11 hours since a documented Ball overhaul, a new Sensenich propeller, all new control cables, and rebuilt instruments. The wings and flying surfaces have been re-covered with poly-fiber and finished in Aerothane paint, while the interior features new leather upholstery. Additional upgrades include hydraulic Cleveland disc brakes, a locking tail wheel, toe brakes, an auxiliary electric fuel pump, and an Alcor EGT gauge. This is one of very few airworthy STAs and is configured for VFR flight with two seats.
