- Overall, the interior of N15040 is typical and representative of this era of PA-32, and is clean and in satisfactory condition. Also typical is the additional wear on the front 'co-pilot' seat, since that seat is used every time the pilot boards the aircraft. It shows a fair amount of wear on both the seat bolsters and on the front of the seat back. The carpet pile is in reasonable condition, but the carpet could use a good deep cleaning. Plastics are in generally good condition, and the headliner looks really nice - no tears or damage was observed during the intake process.
- Exterior Notes
- Overall, the exterior of this PA-32-300 is pleasing to the eye and in nice condition. The paint shows significant depth and shine, and it has stayed that way since it is always hangared. The exterior has very little in the way of blemishes or paint damage - just the typical scratches and minor chips around the cowling latches, and a couple of minor scratches and blemishes elsewhere such as on a wing tip. I am nitpicking here, as the aircraft really does look nice. I observed no hail damage anywhere, and all the leading and trailing edges are crisp and undamaged. The Plexiglas windows look nice, and tires look to be in good condition with plenty of life left in them.
