This 1944 North American XP-82, registered as N877XP, is the first prototype Twin Mustang to fly and represents the only currently flyable P-82 in the world. The aircraft has a total time of 25 hours since a complete, zero-time restoration by master warbird restorer Tom Reilly, which was finished in 2019. This monumental effort resulted in multiple prestigious awards, including the 2019 EAA AirVenture Grand Champion Warbird, Phoenix Award, two Golden Wrench Awards, and the 2019 EAA Sun 'n Fun Grand Champion Warbird Award.
