This 1944 North American XP-82 Twin Mustang (N877XP, serial 44-83887) represents an extraordinary piece of aviation history as the first prototype of its kind and the only currently flyable P-82 in existence. Following a zero-time restoration completed in 2019 by legendary warbird specialist Tom Reilly, the aircraft shows just 25 hours total time and has earned multiple prestigious awards including EAA AirVenture Grand Champion Warbird and Phoenix Award. The airframe features a bare metal exterior with period-correct Stars and Bars markings as flown in 1944, while the interior has been authentically restored to original specifications....
