This 1944 North American P-51D Mustang (N5420V, serial 44-74202) represents a meticulously restored warbird with only 874.1 total airframe hours. The aircraft underwent a comprehensive restoration by Vintage Airframes, featuring new longerons, spars, and complete reskinning, with systems and finishing completed by Allied Fighters. It currently flies with a modern Garmin panel including GTN 750/650 navigators, GFC 500 autopilot, GTX 345 ADS-B transponder, and G5 electronic attitude indicator, while retaining the original WWII-style instrument panel and instruments for optional reinstallation.

Powered by a Packard V-1650-7 Merlin engine with 516.1 SMOH by Roush Aviation, the Mustang is accompanied by an extensive spares package including a second overhauled Merlin engine, transport heads and banks, Hamilton Standard propeller components, and numerous airframe parts. The aircraft wears an authentic 357th FG "Swamp Fox" livery from 2012 and includes operational 75-gallon drop tanks, replica armor plating, and replica guns with dummy ammunition. An annual inspection is due December 2024 by Fighter Enterprises.
