This 1940 Waco UPF-7, serial number 5592, is a highly upgraded example that underwent a complete ground-up restoration in 2010 by Rare Aircraft, Ltd. The restoration included an upgrade to a ZPF configuration with the installation of a 300 horsepower, fuel-injected Jacobs R755A2 engine, which has 112 hours since major overhaul. The airframe has a total time of 2652 hours. This award-winning aircraft earned a Bronze Lindy at Oshkosh in 2010.
