This 1940 WACO UPF-7, offered at $145,000 by the family of the deceased owner, is the product of a ground-up restoration completed in 2009 by a pilot and lifelong A&P with experience on eleven previous fabric aircraft. The restoration included new wings, a new center section, new seats, a 50-amp alternator, a three-way intercom, a transponder, and a transceiver. The Continental W-670 was rebuilt by Radial Engine Inc. and has just 20 hours of total time since the rebuild. All flight instruments except the oil pressure and temperature gauges have been overhauled, and the panel includes a directional gyro. There are no cuts in the fuselage....
