This 1931 Boeing/Stearman 4CM-1, registered as N489W, is a meticulously restored example of a rare classic, with an estimated seven flyable Model 4s in the United States. Its history includes service as a mail plane and instrument trainer for American Airways, followed by use as a crop duster, before a comprehensive restoration was initiated in the 1990s.
