This 1942 Boeing/Stearman A75L-3, registration N32497, is a historically significant aircraft, being one of only four PT-17s originally sold as a civilian trainer in 1941. It was previously owned and operated by the famed Parks Air College and later served as a west coast cropduster. For the past nearly 50 years, it has been owned by just three individuals in the Raleigh-Durham region.
