This 1940s Curtiss P-40E Warhawk, registered as N440WH, represents a remarkably preserved time capsule with serial number 15184. Having never been operated as a civilian aircraft since being sold as surplus by the RCAF in 1946, it has only had two owners and is considered one of the most original P-40 aircraft in existence. A professional restoration is currently in process with the goal of returning the aircraft to airworthy condition while keeping it as close to stock as possible, only replacing or overhauling components as necessary.
