This 1947 Hawker Sea Fury Mk X, registered OO-ISS with serial number 249, is a completely restored example of the rare land-based Iraqi Single Seater (ISS) Fury FB.10, a purpose-built export variant produced by Hawker for the Iraqi Air Force. Unlike its carrier-based Royal Navy counterpart, the ISS Fury was configured specifically for land-based operations while retaining the performance, handling qualities, and presence of the Sea Fury design. The aircraft shows just 60 hours since a complete restoration carried out by Fast Aero in Belgium, and it is maintained in active flying condition and flown regularly.
