Here is a 1960s-era Hiperbipe, but it is effectively a brand-new aircraft. The airframe was built from a new old stock fuselage with epoxied wings, and the completion was finished in two stages (2015 and 2019). Total time on the aircraft is just 40 hours since the rebuild. Power comes from a Lycoming IO-360, fuel-injected and rated at 200 horsepower, with 40 hours since major overhaul. The engine was pickled according to Lycoming’s procedure during its storage period.
