Dehavilland DHC-6-200Turboprop Aircraft

This DeHavilland DHC-6-200HG turboprop represents a specialized STC-modified Twin Otter variant with enhanced performance capabilities. The aircraft features AEVEX's DHC-6-200HG modification, increasing maximum takeoff weight to 12,500 lbs with PT6A-27 engines rated at 620 SHP each - matching the performance of later 300-series models while maintaining a lighter empty weight for increased payload capacity. The modification includes structural enhancements like a long nose forward baggage compartment, enlarged aft baggage door with shelf extension, and emergency exit window hatches, along with freshly installed new Kydex hard-shell interior panels.

The airframe has undergone a comprehensive baseline five-year corrosion inspection per DHC-6 PSM 1-6-5 and shows current maintenance status in accordance with DHC-6 PSM 1-6-7 standards. The exterior has been completely stripped and refinished with DuPont Imron AF400 polyurethane enamel in a classic white/black Twin Otter scheme. Powerplants are either overhauled or factory-new PT6A-27 engines with Hartzell HC-B3TN-3D/T1082N propellers at zero hours since overhaul. The aircraft can be equipped with a Garmin G950 NXI avionics suite customized to operator requirements and is configured for IFR operations with 19-passenger commuter seating. The package includes wing box life extension STC and is presented with fixed wheeled landing gear featuring Goodyear brakes, ready for passenger service or special mission outfitting.
