This 1930s-vintage DEHAVILLAND DH-84 DRAGON, serial number 2057, is an Australian-built example with a notable history of service with the RAAF and QANTAS. With a remarkably low total time of 1 hour on both the airframe and its two newly overhauled (SNEW) 145 hp de Havilland Gipsy Major 10 engines, this aircraft presents a rare opportunity. The engines, which are more powerful than the standard 130 hp units, are paired with Fairey Reed propellers and have a 2000-hour TBO. This Dragon is one of only ten surviving airframes and one of just five that are airworthy from the total production run of 202.
