Avid Flyer C Heavy HaulerExperimental Aircraft • Bath, NC, USA

Offered for sale by owner at $6,000 is an Avid Flyer Model C Heavy Hauler located in Bath, North Carolina. This aircraft is presented as a project: the frame was just recovered and still needs finish coats, and the seller notes that work is required on the trailing edge and on the ribs that hold the flaprons on one wing. According to the listing, the aircraft was airworthy at one time but no paperwork is available for it.

The seller, John Knapp of KNAPP'S EXP, states that if the aircraft does not sell, it will begin parting it out. No airframe or engine times, avionics, or performance figures are provided in the listing.
