The 2019 CubCrafters Carbon Cub EX-2 (N916ST) is a well-equipped backcountry aircraft with 158.4 total hours, fresh from its February 2024 annual inspection at Vector Air in Erie, Colorado. Powered by a CC340 engine producing 180 HP, this experimental/homebuilt model features a comprehensive Garmin avionics suite including a 10-inch G3X Touch display with synthetic vision, GTR200 NAV/COM, GTX345R transponder with ADS-B In/Out, and a GMC-307 2-axis autopilot. The aircraft is outfitted for serious off-airport operations with 31" Alaskan Bushwheels, Shock Monster double barrel shocks, extended landing gear, T3 tailwheel suspension, and a baby bushwheel, complemented by practical 44-gallon extended range fuel tanks and an extended baggage compartment.
