This 2005 Piper PA-12 is a comprehensively restored example with 2,475 hours total time on the airframe and 600 hours since a complete restoration completed in 2005. The restoration process included uncovering and inspecting the aircraft, priming with epoxy, and installing new wing leading edges, new wing tip bows, and a Univair flap kit. A new Dakota Air fuselage was installed in 2005, along with new seats, new glass, a new windshield, and a new cowling, nose bowl, and spinner. All avionics were either overhauled or replaced at that time. The aircraft is covered in Ceconite using Air-Tech products.
