This 2005 Piper PA-12 represents a comprehensively restored and thoughtfully upgraded example of the classic bush-flying taildragger. The airframe shows 2,475 total time with just 600 hours accumulated since a complete restoration in 2005, during which the aircraft was uncovered, inspected, primed with epoxy, and fitted with new wing leading edges, wing tip bows, and a Univair flap kit. The restoration included a new Dakota Air fuselage, new seats, glass, and windshield, a new cowling, nose bowl, and spinner, and the aircraft was covered in Ceconite using Air-Tech products.
