This 2005 Cirrus VK-30 is an experimental, turbine-powered project aircraft with 75 total hours. It was originally completed and flown in Switzerland from 2005 through 2008 with direct engineering assistance from Cirrus Design, and it includes significant engineering data not available for other examples. The aircraft was shipped to the U.S. around 2010 and remained in storage until late 2022, when work commenced in Utah by a licensed A&P, an aeronautical engineer, and a USAF lead composite engineer to repair and reassemble it for airworthiness.
