This 1993 American Champion 8KCAB Super Decathlon, serial number 712-93, presents an exceptional opportunity as a factory-refreshed aircraft. Following hail damage in 2010, it was returned to the American Champion Aircraft Corporation factory in late 2011 for a comprehensive conversion to later-model specifications. This work included all new fabric, an updated interior and instrument panel, a factory baggage door installation, and a 1,950 lb gross weight upgrade. The quality of this factory work was such that the aircraft was subsequently displayed in the American Champion booth at the 2012 Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo.
