This 1981 Maule MX7-235 (N6VD) represents a highly customized STOL performer with recent upgrades and meticulous maintenance. Originally built as an M5-235, it was converted to MX-7 configuration in 2012 with a new data tag and extensively modified in 2019 by Tim Vaughn. The airframe shows 1,465 total hours, powered by a Lycoming IO-540-W1A5 with 201 hours SMOH (2,000-hour TBO), featuring balanced components, GAMI injectors, custom exhaust, and a Tanis engine heater. The MT 3-blade prop was overhauled with new blades in March 2025 and carries a warranty.
