It was among the ninety-five VNAF A-37B aircraft captured after the fall of South Vietnam in 1975 and incorporated into the Vietnamese People's Air Force. The airframe has 1,602.2 hours total time, with 390.2 hours accumulated since a comprehensive 100-point restoration performed by Pay's Air Service in Scone, NSW. The aircraft is finished in an authentic South Vietnamese Air Force livery circa 1970s.
