This 1952 de Havilland DHC-1 Super Chipmunk, registered G-BCKN, is a rare and uniquely restored example with a notable service history with the Royal Air Force Gliding & Soaring Association from 1974 to 2017. Following its acquisition by the current owner, a comprehensive restoration was performed by renowned experts Clive & Andrew Denney of Vintage Fabrics, who have restored over 30 Chipmunks. The aircraft's reliable 180hp Lycoming engine was zero-timed by Multiflight, and it has accumulated only 140 hours since the restoration was completed.
