Powered by its original 2,480 hp Bristol Centaurus 18-cylinder radial engine with 2,277 hours since installation in 1985, the aircraft has 460 hours since overhaul and is currently at 2,745 hours total time. The original Dowty Rotol 6-bladed constant-speed propeller was overhauled in August 2019 with only 20 hours since service. The airframe underwent an extensive restoration featuring perfect paint (interior and exterior) and wears authentic Royal Australian Navy markings.
