This is a 1946 Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser project aircraft being offered for sale by Nathan Bills in Overland Park, Kansas. The airframe is currently disassembled, with the frame blasted and epoxied, although the seller notes that repairs to the curved Piper channel are required—he includes the new curved pieces to complete this work. The project includes the original engine, a new cowling and firewall fabricated by Clyde Smith, and two new fuel tanks. One wing is currently apart with its steel components removed for blasting, and the sale also includes two sets of wheel pants.
