This 1944 Howard DGA 15P is described as an "awesome" example in excellent shape. The wings were rebuilt in 2016, and the fuselage was covered in 2006. Power comes from a run-out Overhauled Covington engine, overhauled in 2016 with 100 hours TTSOH and 811 hours TTSN, and it features an Airwolf oil filter and a BT cowl for better cooling. A new interior has been installed.
The panel has been fully re-done with Garmin avionics including a GTN 650, GMA 245, G5s, GTR 200, and a Stratus ESG transponder with 3i. Engine monitoring is handled by two EI CGR-30 units providing 9-point CHT, EGT, fuel flow, fuel pressure, oil pressure, fuel levels, oil...
