This 1943 Lockheed Lodestar 18-56 (N21G, serial 2326) represents an exceptionally rare opportunity as one of only seven airworthy Lodestars remaining worldwide and the sole survivor in completely original, unmodified configuration. Following a meticulous 10-year restoration with over $800,000 invested, this former USAAF C-60 transport now presents with zero-time components throughout - including freshly overhauled Pratt & Whitney R-1820-57 engines (1 SMOH each), Hamilton Standard 23E50-473 propellers rebuilt by Pacific Propeller, and a completely renewed airframe and systems. The aircraft retains its historic bare metal exterior awaiting final paint or polish, while the original interior components remain preserved though not currently installed.

Originally delivered in December 1942 as a glider tug variant (though records show no operational use in this role), N21G accumulated only 600 hours during WWII before transitioning to civilian service as a Goodyear executive transport. The restoration incorporated modern avionics including a Garmin GTR 225 COM radio, GTX 327 transponder, and PS Engineering PMA 7000B audio panel while maintaining the aircraft's historic integrity. Having last flown in 1984 prior to its decade-long resurrection, this Lodestar now stands as a turnkey piece of aviation history with all major components restored or replaced to like-new condition.
