This 1943 Boeing/Stearman E75 N1, registration N75697, is a historically significant example with a documented career as a WWII Navy N2S-5 based at the Ottumwa, Iowa Naval Air Station, followed by service as a crop duster from 1950 to 1977. The airframe shows 5,523 total hours since new, following a ground-up restoration completed in 2001 by Heritage Aircraft in St. Louis. The aircraft is currently hangared in a heated facility and was featured in the August 2008 issue of AOPA Magazine. An annual inspection is scheduled to be completed in June 2026.
