This 1942 Curtiss P-40N Kittyhawk, serial number 42105472, is a historically significant restoration project with combat provenance from the Pacific Theatre. Built in New York in 1942, it served as "White 17" with nose art "Spooky" and "Dolores" while assigned to the 7th Fighter Squadron of the 49th Fighter Group USAAF. The aircraft was flown by Lt H W Harris and Lt J J O'Neil, who scored over three confirmed kills in Spring 1944, with the original kill markings still visible on the outer skin below the pilot's name.
