This 1942 Boeing/Stearman A75L-3, registration N32497, is a historic example of the Stearman line. It is one of only four PT-17 aircraft sold as a civilian trainer in 1941, with all others being military aircraft. It was owned and operated by the famed Parks Air College in St. Louis and later came into private ownership as a west coast cropduster, spending the last nearly 50 years in the Raleigh-Durham region with just three owners.
