This 1940 Cessna Airmaster 165 (G-BTDE) represents a rare piece of aviation history as one of only approximately 15 airworthy examples worldwide and the sole flying Airmaster in the UK. Powered by a 165hp Warner Super Scarab radial engine with 210 hours SMOH (overhauled in 2012 by Vintech), the aircraft features a Curtiss 55518 fixed-pitch propeller with just 55 hours since new. The airframe shows 3,326 total hours and benefits from a recent shockload inspection following a prop ding, signed off in December 2023. Maintenance highlights include a 2024 flap motor overhaul, new battery, and valid UK CofA/annual inspection through May 2026....
