This 1940 Boeing/Stearman A75 N1 (registration N725FR, serial 75-384) represents a meticulously restored piece of aviation history with direct ties to the Tuskegee Airmen training program. The aircraft underwent a complete ground-up restoration by Howard Kron, MN, with only 400 hours since rebuild on both airframe and its Continental W670-6N 220 HP engine (400 SMOH). The restoration included replacement of all wing spars with new Sitka spruce, reconstruction of ribs using factory drawings, and seven-stage poly fiber covering process with Stits Aero Thane paint in authentic U.S. Army Air Corps livery.
