This 1940 North American NA-50 Replica, registered as N80714 and carrying serial number 29549, is a striking piece of military aviation history. It was fully restored and converted to the NA-50/P-64 configuration by Bill Klears and Alan Wojciak, with 750 hours accumulated since that restoration was completed in 1989. The airframe has been modified with wings shortened by approximately three feet per side, resulting in an approximate 36-foot wingspan, and it features a turtledeck “Racer” rear cockpit instrument panel. It is ready to fly home from its current location in Denver, Colorado.
The aircraft is powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-1340-61...
