This 1939 DeHavilland DH-82A Tiger Moth II represents a rare Thruxton Jackaroo modification, one of only five flying examples worldwide. The aircraft underwent a complete restoration five years ago, accumulating 200 hours since with all-new wing spars. It features a unique four-seat cabin configuration with four-point harnesses throughout, upgraded with modern avionics including VHF radio, ADS-B Out, and a four-place intercom system with headsets. Power comes from a DeHavilland Gipsy I engine showing 200 hours since overhaul, with 1,300 hours remaining until the next major service. The package includes a Queen Bee fuel tank (106-liter capacity), an extra propeller, full servicing equipment, tooling, manuals, and five pages of spare parts. Currently based in New Zealand, the aircraft can be prepared for shipping in a 40ft Hitop container from Tauranga. This historically significant Tiger Moth variant would make an exceptional addition to any vintage aircraft collection.
