This 1931 Great Lakes 2T-1A (registration G-GYQO) represents a masterfully rebuilt and modified example of the classic biplane, transformed by legendary aircraft builder Jim Moss. Starting as a 1931 airframe with just 124 total hours since restoration, it now features a potent 280 hp Vedeneyev AN-14P radial engine with 353 hours SMOH, inverted oil and fuel systems, and a smoke system for airshow capability. The airframe was completely rebuilt with Ceconite fabric covering and sports a show-quality red/white custom paint scheme from 2007, matched by a similarly refreshed interior.
